Just finished reading Amanda Owen The yorkshire shepherdess,a really good book.

Brilliant, isn't it. My youngest son and his partner stayed in the shepherd's hut a few years back.

When I took the book back to the mobile library I was told that it was very popular.

It's a great book. We first heard of her & her family on a programme that Ade Edmondson fronted a few years ago with him travelling the countryside. I had her calendar last year and she is worth a follow on Twitter if you use it, her photos of their everyday life are tremendous )t'
No girls at the moment but look forward to getting more in the future. Proud mummy to Hector, a Bedlington Terrier x Jack Russell

I first saw her on tv too, the book was so interesting a really remarkable lady.
