Dads Army

Post by nicklincs »

Just back from a lovely afternoon spent watching Dads Army at the Kinema in the woods in Woodhall Spa. A bit of a slow start but was a brilliant film and quite funny in parts.

I'm looking forward to seeing it so glad you enjoyed it.

The original TV series was fantastic and is still as funny all these years later.

The original is just brilliant, they don't make programmes like they used to.

|I still watch it on Saturday evenings and enjoy it now as much as I did way back when.

For me it's a reminder of Village Halls and status :-D

I'm still unsure about watching the movie, but probably will.

Glad you enjoyed it.

It is difficult when they remake the classics, so often it goes so wrong… would we think a remake of only fools and horses as funny if made thirty years from now with a new cast of characters?
