Re: Best laid plans of mice and men !Just repeating what others have said Wendy and I do hope that the people who reserved her go ahead with the rehoming. Everything that can be crossed is crossed!
I am now a widow and live with my memories.

If you can't be a good example........ you will just have to be a horrible warning Re: Best laid plans of mice and men !Sally is off to her new home tomorrow morning.

Re: Best laid plans of mice and men !Spitting blood They bought her back today. Good Heaven FOUR bluddy days !!!! no commitment . She hadn't even unpacked her case. Poor dear Sally. I now have four . I won't let her down. http://www.busheyk9.co.uk

Re: Best laid plans of mice and men !That's unbelievable. What a shame for the poor little thing. Possibly she's better off without them but it must be a blow.
I don't know how you do it. I'd have a house full of dogs by now. Bea; 19 hens (most of whom I intended to get); 6 bantams (which I never intended to have); old Benji dog and young Toby dog (who I definitely wanted). Three years into country living and loving it.
Re: Best laid plans of mice and men !Gee, what idiots are out there!
Did they give any reason for bringing her back, Wendy? Re: Best laid plans of mice and men !About 15 Gwen !.
But geez this dog has only been there three days. Dog reactive....yes I had spent 30 minutes with you and the dog, telling you this and what to do. She kept looking under cars Wouldn't look at them, well actually she doesn't know you ! Showed her teeth..........WHAT did you do ? as she hasn't shown any signs of that, with anyone at the kennels. I am sure they wouldn't try to exert anything on one of the dogs in the kennels. So why push it when you have only had her a couple of days. Give them time to trust. As usual I am sure they expected a 'normal' dog in 5 minutes. Not possible. If they walk through a rescue door and stay a day or so...... they have a problem. Their whole life is turned upside down. Just no commitment given to poor Sally http://www.busheyk9.co.uk
If you can't be a good example........ you will just have to be a horrible warning Re: Best laid plans of mice and men !That's sickening, Wendy. I hope they ban those people from ever setting foot in the place again. They don't deserve to have a dog. I hope someone nice comes along to give her a home.
Ilona SallySince Sally has been back she seems to appreciate me more
She stays with me in that paddock now, rather than snuffling off on her own. I have taught her twists, go hide and peek a boo. This is on top of the staff teaching the basics sit, down, stand etc. She is dog reactive, but we have been working on this....again. She is getting to be a good girl. Today I had to walk her don the m ain part, with dogs one side and she didn't bark once. She barked at Nellie on the way back. But Nellie started it !. I am proud of how well she I doing. http://www.busheyk9.co.uk

Re: Best laid plans of mice and men !Sally went to her new home this morning. So please all that she is there forever.
I didn't say anything, in case I put a jinx on it. I will be starting on Thursday with a staffie cross called Dudley. I wanted to post a photo. But photobucket doesn't want to join in today. If anyone knows of another site I can use I would appreciate it http://www.busheyk9.co.uk
