Let me introduce Cookie.

Image

He is a sweet little boy.... But absolutely petrified. I met him yesterday and he wouldn't come near me.
I am not 'doing' anything as such. Just going into the kennel and sitting in there. Throwing food on the floor.
Today he felt confident enough to take food from my hand. This is going to take some time. Sadly I am not there tomorrow, so I will go back a step.
Nothing should be that frightened..................
Just completely under socialised. You must get the dogs out and about before 18 weeks old and used to all noises etc, Otherwise you will forever be playing catch up. Or worse still end up with another Cookie

What a cute little face, poor thing. If anyone can work their magic, you can Wendy. Good luck.

Oh little cutie! Hope he comes round in time, it's so sad when they're scared of their own shadow & everything else {hug}

He is a lovely looking boy and what strikes me is how intelligent he looks. No doubt at all Wendy that once he gains confidence he will do really well. Good luck with him )t'

Cookie is coming on a treat. He wags his tail as I walk toward the kennel now. I can sit on his bed, with him by my side. Bless him.
He has been reserved. So >fi< everyone.
