Lap Sitters...

Post by Katiee »

I've just had to take Mabel, my lap sitter, to the vets to be pts. {cry} When I went into the garden and no one clamoured to sit on my lap, it really hit me. So, can we train the girls to do this, or is it instinct with individuals?

Hi food is the answer.
Once food is known to be in your hand and you do not feed straight away ,they come and get it . Hold the bowl on lap ,they jump up and when they trust you , they do not wait for the food ,just jump up and sit .
Trust is the bit and food is the way to it.
Trouble is with 41 chocks it is a bit crowded ,Ha Ha Ha.
