Post by barkingmad »

I'v just got myself some very handsom guinea pigs.
3 boys. 1 each for my youngest grand children. [ but they will be staying at nannas house.]
I know they won't replace fatty >ch< [ one of my hens who passed over rainbow bridge last week] but they have helped put a smile back on my face.
I will of cause take some photos for every one to see. >mmm<

Ooo gorgeous little creatures. Adopted 4 last month.
Such sweet little things your boys will love them.
Are they babies and what are their names ?

Look forward to the photos )t' )t'

When in my teens (last century!), my younger brothers and sisters had Guinea Pigs.
I think the numbers went up to around 30 something!
I remember people coming around to take some as pets, we had a big Shed and a Pen about 15 feet x 8 feet.

Food is usually a good anti fidget for little animals, can help when taking photos. :)

For the ferrets, wiping some oil, so they could stand and lick would work :)

Not sure what guineas would like. Can you get vitamin paste or something similar for them?
