What came into my garden!

Post by albertajune »

I keep an old pair of slippers outside my patio doors to slip on when letting out and shutting up Rosie my chicken. This morning one of them had disappeared. There were signs in nearby gravel that something had been in the garden but what animal would make use of a slipper. So puzzling.

My first thought as there are lots of foxes all around us. I hope that whatever took it put it to good use. I do have a large cat, small dog flap next to the patio doors and am wondering if it should be closed at night.
Both my cat and dog are usually in all night.

June - though I cannot throw any light on your "thief", we did have a cat door. One morning my late husband discovered a tom cat in the utility area, which went ballistic and sprayed everywhere! A good start to the day.
