Re: Agatha ChristieStrangely enough I have only read 1 Agatha Christie (a mur.der is announced I think it was) plus a collection of marple short stories, and I didn't really like them, but I love love love the tv adaptations, especially the Joan Hickson Marple and the David Suchet Poirot. The only ones I haven't liked are the tommy & tuppence ones, including the pale horse. Don't particularly like Julia MacKenzie's version of Marple.

Re: Agatha ChristieI read loads of Agatha Christie books when I was at school - ran out of 'school girl' stuff and so read mum's Catherine Cookson, AC etc. My favourite as a youngster was Dumb Witness - I won't go into detail as it may spoil it for others who want to read it but I loved everything about it.
No girls at the moment but look forward to getting more in the future. Proud mummy to Hector, a Bedlington Terrier x Jack Russell

Re: Agatha ChristieI didn't enjoy Agatha Christie as much as others of a similar era - Dorothy L Sayer, Margery Allingham, not to mention Connan Doyle.
I've heard lots of them on radio, can't remember reading any except Death on the Nile which I though was very formulaic (if thats the word I'm looking for?) Dance caller. http://mo-dance-caller.blogspot.co.uk/p/what-i-do.html
Sunny Clucker enjoyed Folk music and song in mid-Cheshire
