BananasBananasWas having a conversation with an elderly lady today , she was telling me she loved mashing her banana with sugar in a sandwich, I love mine with peanut butter and with weetabix. Wondered if anyone else ate theirs with anything else?

Re: BananasI like banana and peanut butter sandwiches, like them toasted too.
Never ate peanut butter until I was an adult and used to buy it for the kids, so a late convert.
Re: BananasGrowing up we used to have banana sandwiches or mashed banana, sugar & milk. Now I like to slice one on top of my porridge.

Re: BananasMy daughters favourite pudding is an old Delia Smith recipe - takes a couple of minutes to prepare but looks good enough to serve at dinner parties.
Slice a small banana into an individual glass dessert dish. Cover with a thick layer of natural Greek yoghurt. Crumble a generous amount of molasses sugar over the top. Cover tightly with cling film and refrigerate for 4 hours. After this time, the molasses sugar will have turned into a thick caramely syrup and oozed all over the top of the yoghurt. Top with chopped pistachios or Brazil nuts and dig in. Lucy x

Re: BananasI sometimes have a sliced banana on Greek yoghurt with a few chopped almonds for breakfast. Other days I have one as a snack. I find them sweet enough without added sugar. I also realy enjoy the odd banana muffin.

Cheese goes with anything, though I prefer strong Cheddar (but not so strong it bites back and curls your teeth) I never buy bananas, though I used to eat the odd one if they were there. Dance caller. http://mo-dance-caller.blogspot.co.uk/p/what-i-do.html
