Wow! Look at this egg!

My daughter sent me these photos of an egg her chook laid last week yike*

Not seen anything like it !!

So she decided to crack it and see.....

......and cracked the inner one .....

....which was all yolk!! A bit like Russian dolls, I thought {rofwl}

We had a really large egg like that and when craked open it was like 2 eggs inside we put a picture of it on Facebook.

That made my eyes water, let alone the poor hen's.
Reading my Haynes Chicken Manual it describes this as "a blip in production", but annoyingly it doesn't say why it happens.
