No presents so no paper here. A few cards. I made a festive bunting with last years cards. Cut triangles from the colourful front, attach them to a string or wool or ribbon by enclosing them in sticky back plastic trapping the string along the top. Or, if you don't have sticky back plastic you could use a sewing machine to attach them to a piece of ribbon.

Afraid paper from presents went in bin. This years presents wrapped in l left over paper from last year and ditto tags. Used to make tags from left over cards and have some somewhere but my 'filing' system means I haven't got a clue where they are.

Our waste paper people will take the cards and wrapping paper, unless it is the 'pastic ' sort.
So other than a few bits of wrapping paper all recycled.

I save any wrapping paper which can be re-used, but I don't iron it! Over the past few years I have had several colourful present bags given, they take up quite a lot of room though.

I save any fancy string, and if the wrapping paper is beyond re-use, it goes on our living room fire.

We are taking our decorations down tomorrow, and I shall sort through the Christmas cards, and save the ones which will make suitable gift tags for next Christmas. We only give family presents now, and only send cards to our family.

Scrooge, etc.

We are slowly munching our way through a hamper from my oldest son, which contained all the things I am not supposed to eat! For tea tonight we are having half of a pork pie, which was bought with another and put in the freezer. I don't have to cook )t'

I read you're not supposed to put cards with tinsel on them into a Bin.

I usually just save the cards and cut them up for the little tags for next years presents.

Plus a few good bits of paper if I can rescue them quick enough.

I've just been making some of last years cards into sewing cards for my granddaughter.
E.g. a christmas tree picture I use a nail to make holes round the edge, thread a darning needle with wool and she can either outline it or put streamers over it. Good for manual control and logically thinking (you have to turn it over each time, and pull the wool through carefully to avoid it knotting and looping).
I used to do it with Playgroup.

I also write out my dance instructions on them sometimes (cut to fit my indexbox). Not always easy to match the dance to the picture but I have Comical Fellow on a clown.

I cut out cards into strips and laminate them and punch a hole in them.

We have used them for book marks, luggage tags to go on holiday, marking rows of seeds in the garden. I am sure there are lots of other things we can use them for.
