Strange Saturday night TV mix !!

On BBC we have 'Let it Shine' and on ITV we have 'The Voice'.

Of the two I think I prefer the Voice, but not always an ITV fan when the Audiences seem to think it amazing that a person can hit a high note and burst into applause !

However, with BBC; they show Let it Shine, then go a tad more serious with Casualty (I know everyone enjoys a good medic series...except me I think!!) then out of the blue they have put 'Taboo' into Saturday night viewing, talk about dark and bleak !!

Surely that sort of programme should be a weekday 9pm spot alongside all the other dark side, doom, doom and more doom !!

I can't stand these programs that everyone has to vote
I know I am a misery.

I personally find Saturday and Sunday evening TV a real bore.
Just catch up with programs I have recorded over the past week.

Thankfully we do not have TV here, so for our Saturday night activities we have poured a glass of wine and are about to start a jigsaw, how exciting is that?? Only difficult choice is what music to put on.............................

Just watched the snooker semi-final. First I've seen of this tournament so not really an avid follower. Good to see the commentators being shown that it's not won till it's lost.

I don't like these singing talent shows either (anyone remember opportunity knocks). They bore me stupid. Love Casualty, Taboo, haven't watched Don't fancy it. Think generally television has gone down and the amount of repeats is ridiculous, especially films.

The programmes yesterday were rubbish. We started to watch Taboo on the first episode, but quickly turned it off. Tom Hardy is the grandson of my old neighbours in our previous home. (claim to fame).

The contest programmes I can do without. We ended up watching police dogs, and police chasing criminals.

Hopefully tonight will be better with Call the Midwife and Endeavour.
