I can't say enough how sorry I am for you. Even though you were expecting the worse at one time it is always devastating when a loved pet dies. {hug} {hug}
I am now a widow and live with my memories.

Dear Ilona

I have just read your blog, and put a comment on. So very sad to read about dear, beautiful Bugsy. You just take care, and take some time to get over the trauma.

Love, Spreckly

I am so sorry for your loss. Been there too many times myself and I know how absolutely heartbreaking it is. You will get to a point when you can re-visit all the happy memories and you will have paw prints in your heart forever.

Thank you everyone. I'm trying to keep busy, but there's a big empty table in front of me now, where Bugsy has lived for the past six months. I went out today and didn't have to rush back. It didn't seem right. The first thing I did when coming back home was to make sure he was alright, he was always waiting for me, telling me he wants food, or milk, or his hot water bottles refilling because they had gone cold.

I don't see much of Mayze and Heidi, they seem to spend most of their time upstairs. I am sat down here on my own.

I suppose I will get used to it.

I felt very lost and sad after I said goodbye to my old dog - all my daily routines were based around her for so long and when she was gone, the house just seemed very empty so I can understand how you feel {hug} I still miss the old girl and it's been nearly 4 years now.

It's a week now. Did a bit of trimming up in the back garden, talked to Bugsy as I clipped his bushes.

So sorry, I too missed your post.

Horrible when you lose a pet which is as much as a friend or family as anyone.
