Fudge

Post by wendy »

Another new little friend has come my way
This is Fudge.

Image

He is 3 years old and has a number of guarding issues
The usual ones, food, toys crate. But he also has a thing about trainers and can be naughty if you are wearing them.
Anyway we are just getting to know each other at the moment.

He is a very handsome boy. Hope that you can help him and sort out his issues. He looks like he will make a very loyal pal for someone that can give him lots of love and attention. From reading your previous posts, I assume that you work for an organisation that helps dogs with problems with a view to correcting them and then finding them forever homes - ? What a wonderful, worthwhile, selfless thing to do - there should be more people in the world like you. Good luck with the beautiful Fudge.

I volunteer for the National Animal Welfare Trust, the one in Hertfordshire.
They have many wonderful dogs that don't have any issue's, other than being left by their family.
But those who have issue's or are not coping too good with kennel life. I try to help them out.
I have been there since August 2014, out of the 16 dogs I have had, I have 4 still here. So that gladdens my little heart

Fudge is 3, 57 varieties, and is a good boy with me.

They say he guards his toys, food and bed. I have yet to see it. I do keep trying to get him to do it. But he doesn't :?
I do know he has a thing about feet and in particular trainers, what has someone done to him ?. Of course I don't wear trainers, as it is muddy. But I put treats on my wellies and he eats them off, even when I move them. So I will take an old trainer in soon and start with that.
He was born in NAWT and taken as a pup. The guy bought him back because of the feet problem and he has bitten his hand, when the guy put it on his leg.
I would say this dog was constantly punished, instead of being rewarded for good behaviour.
Now we have to sort it out and he is labelled as a biter, which makes rehoming difficult

Dogs are not born with these problems, humans create them and it really makes me soooo bliddy angry, when I hear things like this. {mr.angry}

Hopefully once again you can work your magic on him.

My Harley is getting old , Walking a bit bad at the rear , Polo is ok. I am hoping that Harley will live for ever , but the world is not like that . She is 11.5 (72 in our age ).
Bottom line should the time come to loosing her and I have one dog left ,I will came and visit and take a dog away with me.
A dog on her own would get bored and sad .
