Horses in stables

Has anyone trained a horse to wee in a bucket?
My daughter was pleased yesterday that Scooby had done this. Never heard of it before.

Never trained a horse or know anyone who has, but as horses don't like getting their legs wet from the 'splash', just wondered if your daughter put some straw in the bucket and that is why it worked.

When dealing with geldings, I always had a bucket handy, saves on the bedding.
