New puppy

Post by Dee »

We have had benson for 4 days now and he as gorgeous , he is a rescue pup from Zante and around 16 weeks old.
He has settled in really well with only a couple of problems , soft stools still and fleas !
He was wormed and flead before he arrived apparently....
All the details are in his passport..
Hes not at all unwell ...quite the opposite lol.
Hes been on rice and chicken but that hasnt really helped much , ive use a flea comb and the flea problem seems a lot better but he still scratches mainly morning and night time ..
On his passport it says he had frontline combo ....think thats what it says but not very clear to read , and he had drontal both on 24th of this month so im not sure about giving him anything else for the fleas ..
Advice would be very welcome
Thanks Dee
( would add a photo but cant seem to do it ! lol )

Has he had a check over by your vet ?
If not maybe worth it. I am afraid you cannot always believe the statements made on the pet passports etc. etc.
I am sure your vet will sort him out. You do NOT want the fleas getting into your furnishings or carpets.

Photobucket is playing up. We are all having to find different sites. I have used imgbox very easy to use.

If you can't be a good example........
you will just have to be a horrible warning
