WOW, WOW, WOW and another WOW.
They are all brilliant MQ. )like(
I am about to have a go at making a succulent garden on the top of a pumpkin, have seen it on videos on YouTube, but not sure how I will get on. If it comes to anything and I get it done before daughter leaves today I will get her to post a piccie. Have also seen a teacup used for a rose arrangement. It was meant to be for table names etc, but thought it might look good without the name tag, so will have a go at that sometime too.

Once again Ilona you have created some beautiful art they are all stunning )like(

Some people who call theme selves artists are earning huge amounts of money for creations that don't have a patch on yours.

Do you have ideas in your head for a while or is most of your work spontainious sp?.the under the sea ones are so lovely and very cute.

Recently we saw some jars with candles in not half as good as yours and priced at 3 or 4 pounds.
It might be worth making some for your cat stall, I bet the would sell like hot cakes specially christmas ones and would make lovely gifts. :-D

I'm looking forward to see your next creations Ilona

Thank you for your comments. I have just finished this wall hanging thingymajiggy. It's five and a half inches across. Rings wrapped with threads. The outer ring is from an old lampshade, there's curtain rings and plastic rings. Saw the idea in a magazine, this is my interpretation of it. Inside I have put a circle of wadding and a circle of cardboard to make it rigid. The back is covered with purple felt to give it a neat finish.

I made a frame yesterday for my Octopuses Garden picture with driftwood I picked up along the banks of the River Humber.

First mounted the picture on a board slightly bigger, gave it a black fabric border. Then wrapped the wood in jute and screwed them to the board from the back. Covered the back with a piece of denim. :-D

All it needs is a face and it's a posh lady with a hat.

Did the video say how long you can keep it going? The pumpkin we carved one year went mouldy very quickly.

Ilona i love the octopus ones and it's very fitting that the frame is made from driftwood, is there no end to your talent and imagInation )like(

They are lovely Gwen did you hollow it out or put any compost. in it
We have 2 with faces cut out so probably wont be able to do anything with them
We are going to put them outside so the wild birds can have a peck if they eat them

Cannot remember how long exactly that you can keep it going, Mo. Think it is only a few weeks, but it did say that you can clean the plants off and re-use them somewhere else. Never thought about adding a face to it.
Not hollowed out and no compost, just spagnum moss held on with spray glue and pva glue to attach the plants, Linda.
To be honest I did not expect it to last this long as the moss was soaking when I got to it, tried to dry it out with some paper towels, but not very successful.

I have entered three of my pictures in the Open Exhibition 2018 at Ferens Art Gallery at Hull. Have to wait now for the judging to see if any have been accepted.

Not so much a crafty make, more of a re using, re purposing, and re cycling make. I very rarely buy new materials for my arts and crafts, there is so much free stuff out there if you look around.

I just made four shopping bags out of some fabric I stripped off the sides of a single divan bed. The wood is in my garage. )t'

It was already quilted with a foam filler and lining, and the floral fabric has a nice soft sheen to it. These will be for sale at our village fair, proceeds to our cat rescue.
