Poor Pops i knew she wasnt well last week when she didnt greet me and didnt want to go our for a walk, persuaded Ann her owner to take her to the vets, she came back with something to sort out diarhea as the vet said she didnt like her touching her tummy >coc< I have been on hols this week but Ann rang me when i was at my vets with Echo to say Poppy got worse , was on a drip and was having her womb removed tomorrow so we have everthing crossed the lovely girl will pull though.

Sounds like Pyometra.
Can be a killer, good job you advised her to take Poppy to the vet.
Hopefully now the womb is removed she will go be fine

Gosh this brings back awful memories of Lexi who had Pyometra at roughly 5 months old, hers was open though, but still created HUGE probs because of the stoopid, stoopid vet.
I hope she gets well soon, but if there is no real improvement please tell her owner not to hesitate in going back to the vet a.s.a.p.

Poppy now fully recovered thankyou, bless her i took her out with her collar on and when we walked by the pillars on our way to deliver the papers she kept banging her head against them so we decided to walk in the road.

That doesn't sound right, why would she be banging her head?
