Greenhouse No.1 is 8' x 4' and 2. is 12' x 8'

Most of the compost is of chicken origin matured slowly with grass cuttings and other household waste

Beside the garden above, we have many freebies around us and use them all to supplement or make food;
From the big house opposite we get the surplas Quinces and Plums. The Landlord owns a disused Orchard which supplies us with winter apples.
All around are Horseradish plants, Elderberry, Blackberry, Wild Strawberiies, wild Garlic, Chestnuts and Hazelnuts.
