Underneath the hard shell which surrounds him, Jamie's a pretty decent bloke although I have a sneaky feeling he wants to write the forward to my book and somewhat worried that the truth will at last leak out. This week he kindly asked me to have a look round the BBC studios at Tunbridge Wells.

Left and centre - BBC Radio Kents Pat Marsh with lovely assistant Laura. Every morning since 1843 Pat's been bringing smiles to listeners faces. Masters of their craft. Right is Giles Wilmot who was preparing for his broadcast of the evening news. Sadly this was his last day in that position, but he raised a smile after I told him Jamie was doing the Millwall game later. |

Jamie let me have a go in the Studio but after giving me a total of 2 / 10 (for the colour of my jumper), he turned on the style for a quick Sports News up-date. How he does that and watch's his favourite programme 'Neighbours' at the same time is genuinely unbelievable. That over with, he left me for a , I quote, "Pig Sandwich" and a fight with John Warnett. |
I thought this was the place where you sat and loads of lovely girls overdosed you with food and drink. Being not very famous, well not famous atall, I had to settle with a glass of water and half a Mars bar left by a previous guest.
A good day and thanks to everyone at BBC Radio Kent who made it so
