The Health and Wellbeing Pages

The reason for these pages is that 'down the lane' is a log of my downshifting experience and many side shoots associated with it.
But if the past 6 years or so have done anything, they've virtually completely changed my outlook on life in many respects.
It hasn't 'changed' my personality, it has brought it out and found a few more things on top.

I think that downshifting is the starter for further searching and this brings about new horizons and new challenges.
I found that being in a different working and social environment that, although more at one with myself,
I was (and am to a certain extent) finding some parts of my life more difficult.
Since the big change, I've been more occupied and busy than ever before and unless I search for answers to combat this, I could find myself going around in ever decreasing circles.

It's not maybe as serious as that, but certainly you find yourself more occupied because you're doing your thing and not someone elses.

So, these pages are a result of some of
the things I've found very helpful. It's simply a case of seeing
