Summer 2005. I got five new ex-battery hens and the old 'Nettle Cottage' chicken shed was getting a bit crowded. I must admit to a slight exaggeration about 30 seconds - it took me about 3 hours. If the chickens hadn't been so inquisitive, it would have been 2 !
