Eglu Chicken Houses and Runs have become very popular over the last few years.
The obvious advantages are that they are light, easy to move around, easy to clean and being plastic, they also act as a good protection to Red Mite.
One other thing is because of the plastic rods which are thinner than wood, you can see more of the Chickens.
So, there are many choices for housing your chickens; Wooden Sheds, wooden Coops with combined Runs, conversion of a Garden Shed, Eglu or plain and simple DIY. Some people have made their Coops from Pallets!
