Broody hen

Is there a better hatch rate using a broody hen compared with an incubator ? I mean, if you put six eggs under a broody, what hatch rate compared with an incu ?

Need a accurate meter. Why ? Because the 2 i've got are giving different reading, ok, not a lot but different.
Recommend any and where from ?

Hello

First of all, hi, I've just join this forum. The main reason for me to of joined is to ask a question. When incubating chicken eggs and you have set them down with a mark on each end, how do you turn them when I have read that the 'pointy end' should be facing down. If this is so, then at some stage...
