It still looks pretty but am leaving weeds for wildlife +pinn+ I can knit but the start of macular degeneration stops me sewing. Luckily I can knit but reserve this for the evenings. ...

any new hobbies?

It has been said that many people have found new, or rediscovered crafts and hobbies. I started experimenting with watercolours at the start of being isolated. I painted a portrait of a gr grandaughter which I was quite happy with but didn't have much motivation. Since then I have found the love of ...

Re: How many of you have had your second jab?

I was phoned from my GP surgery last Tuesday saying my second one would be done on the Wednesday or Thursday. I said I would be out Thursday afternoon as i am having a form of chemotherapy in ...

Just seen that Thompson and Morgan 's web site has a longlist of edible flowers which can be grown. Also a list of flowers that are poisoners. Worth looking at.

So shocking! Like you LL I can't see why nothing can be done to punish those b's wth a strong enough deterrant. I also can't understand why it is left to collect into such massive amounts.

Only just read that you lost poor little Pat. I am so sorry Mo and know how upsetting it is when we lose a much loved pet. He was lucky that you gave him such a good life and didn't allow him to suffer any more. {hug} {hug}

Re: No alternative

Glad it's all done and you are recovering. Hope you are getting on top of the pain. I know what you mean about epidurals as I had both my hip replacements done with that method. The recovery is better than with general anaethesia. Carry on as you are doing and you will soon be walking about again an...

Re: When it becomes available, will you have the jab?

I think you would be advised not to have this one. i don't know if the advice will be the same with the Oxford one when ready. it wasn't known about this one until 2 carers had side effects.

I do want to do the right thing but am a bit nervous about having this one. I heard this morning tha...
