After 2 years of the dreaded red mite i managed to get a plastic dog kennel to convert for my girls.
I thought it would be perfect but my girls still perch outside. WHY?

Im ok having a broody hen as I know she will come out of it soon. But my only concern is she is looking pale and very thin compared to the layers. Can I give her any extra treats to perk her up. She does eat and drink but I think she is needing a bit extra So meal worms or protein stuff or something...
