Re: Tipping a hen with sourcrop - advice please?

I had one with it last year, did the same tipping and expelling which worked.
I also give mine natural yoghurt too and organic apple cider vinegar in their drinking water helps as well.

Home made dust bath for chickens This is for anyone who has the same problem of chickens indoors needing a dust bath. Re: Which sewing machine do you have?

I expect it will cost too much to post it, I have had several sewing machines given to me for free, they don't seem to hold much value unfortunately. If you are ever down this way, drop in for a cuppa and we will have a look at it, see what we can do.

Magnet motor and generator

Anyone tried to build one? I'm just starting the experimental stage. In theory in can work but until I see one I have built running I am reserving my judgement. If it works and can power a few things round the house to help lower the electric bill or even better, go off grid, then I'll post my findi...

Re: Which sewing machine do you have?

Hi , man at Wickford is giving me a quote . See what happens. Bob,thank you. Yes, if the timings out it does liken to pistons in a car's engine rising at the wrong time and smashing in to a valve! Hope you get it sorted, I replaced a needle bar and reset the timing about 6 months ago, occasionally ...

Re: Which sewing machine do you have?

Could be the the timing which means re setting the needle bar.
Do you have a manual with it to help you?
Do you know how to reset/check timing?

Re: Stray cockerel

No need to get rid of noisy cockerels, just put a collar on them to lower the volume, they are quieter than the hens then.
