Re: A....di products

I am finding that the A...d's non bio wash powder is being left in a soggy state in the dispenser compartment. Today I have been in T....co and bought some of their own brand, to see if it is the wash powder or my machine - which is still under guarantee. Today in Al..s we had a really good shop. Ju...

Cleaning dirty eggs

The eggs my girls lay are getting dirtier and dirtier. I keep them in an old fashioned egg crock made by OH in my wash house, which is like an ice box. When I give them away to friends, etc., I tell them that they will need a wash before they use them - hope they don't pout them in their fridges! I ...

Re: Walk-in-Run construction.

I admire your run too. Ours has sort of evolved, and is not smart looking. All the best with your girls.

Super Scrimper programme, last Thursday

Did anyone see the programme last Thursday? I am still working out where the housewife got the huge sheaf of vouchers from. Apparently she emails firms saying how good their products are, and they send vouchers for their goods!? She had two bills, one of sixty pounds, which was reduced to I think a ...

Re: Buying from ebay/friday ad/charity shops

Our furniture is similar to Cranford Steve's. I am using my parents 1937 sideboard, dressing table and tall boy. OH made our dining table, otherwise it would be the parents square draw leaf 1937 table. My middle son has this now, plus the matching chairs. Our living room chairs are second hand, reco...
