Re: karen's chicken diary

So sorry to hear about Mango Karen. What is happening to her reminds me of how one of my girls was before she went. So sad but hopefully she won't suffer for too long and will leave you with lovely memories of her life with you. Fingers crossed she might pick up but we do have to be realistic and th...

Re: Lucas

Oh LL what a beautiful cat Lucas is and obviously a very happy boy. I remember my Misty hanging her arm down to pat me with it. I always thought her to be an exceptionally independent cat right from being a kitten but she never went far from home. It is so lovely seeing how well he has settled in wi...

Re: Bull dog may be no more

Breeders should be ashamed of the stress that these poor dogs suffer but don't care. It's all for money. It will only stop if people who want to buy these breeds really care about the welfare of their pets.

I agree also and hope that the same will eventually apply to other breeds that have been fashioned to the extent that they cannot breathe. I just wish that man would leave nature alone.

Not a good time for me either - six months to the day since I lost Ted, same date, and day.

Re: TV Licence

I received my free TV licence last year which expires May 31st. I am reading the letter now which came with it which says "We will be writing to you again in good time before the 31st May to let you know what you will need to do. You don't need to take any action in the meantime" People wh...

Re: Having my OP tomorrow.

Oh dear June, do I understand that you have a hernia as well? Miserable for you. Take care Unfortunately, yes. It showed up on a scan and is a weakening from past surgery. I do get a bit fed up with it as I mustn't strain but because of past rectum refashioning through cancer surgery some years ago...

Re: Having my OP tomorrow.

I do look on each day but not much been happeningon here. I'm ok but still have some discomfort as before, a month later. Told to drink plenty etc. I think having a new hernia is a lot of the problem now. A difficult time to have anything wrong for anyone. Hope everyone else is well and coping if st...

Re: Electric Pressure Cooker

I have seen them advertised on TV and they do look brilliant. I don't think I would make enough use of one as I only cook for one. It will end up like my other new kitchen gadgets that I have bought. In cupboards just looking Impressive when I open the door.

Had go with acrylics and painted this pic of the best friends who both left me last year. Just realised that Misty needs her whiskers. Still miss them both such a lot. xx

Thanks Wendy. Not clever, just got a good eye. xx
