Re: Help needed urgently

Yes you need to take her away (black rock) and keep her on her own, then she will be the new girl. It's hard for her too as she has been taken to a new home and is just trying to get her status in life. Not easy for us to watch either. If you free range them, allow the black rock to come out and put...

Whatever you do will annoy her (if she is that sort of person) If she was taking pics of me etc i would def contact the council about the privacy thing, she has no right to do this and should be told so! Get in there first, and do what you can to keep the coc...

I would move her nearer the time perhaps just before they are due to hatch, she will want to be on her own. Good luck :)

Re: half a softy

You can add limestone flour (available at any horsey place) to a wet mash once a week just 1 scoop, this will help harden the shells, also just make sure you have oystershell available in their grit, most has this added to it. The half shell just means it is being formed i suppose, but then breaking...

Re: Converting a Shed

Shed is a great way to go easy to clean and do what you want with. I used bread crates (the plastic ones ) filled with straw for sleeping in and egg laying. Mine are no longer in there now, but when i had 14 it was great We had perches on both sides, and the nesting boxes to the back, some perched o...

Re: Stace's Chooks

The girl's have not been venturing out this week, deciding to stay inside the coop door bless em! Far to wet and windy for them to come out, they hate it! Their run is still nice and dry, but not sure how much of the tarp will be left after the storm's this week. Lets have some sunshine please )t'
