Re: Plastics

Lancashire Lass, try a very small amount of coconut oil on your hair instead of conditioner. I use it for removing make up too, a jar from the supermarket last ages and its all natural. I don't get any build up from by beeswax shampoo bar at all, it just leaves my hair really soft, clean and smells ...

Low Egg Count!

Over the past few months our egg count has really dropped. Yesterday we only got 2 eggs from 12 girls We've got 7 older girls (about 2 and a half) and over the summer a couple of them were moulting so eggs dropped off but all 7 are now fully feathered and looking healthy and although they make all t...

Re: Plastics

Worming

I'm currently worming my girls with Flub. Does anyone know how this process works? Does it 'expel' any worms they may currently have? I do worm them regularly and they've shown no signs but we've just noticed a poo that looked like it could contain some so I was just wondering!

Re: Plastics

I had to litter pick down our quiet country lane yesterday. Presumably some driver had decided to throw plastic bottles, wipes and chocolate wrappers out of the car window as they were driving along yike* You're never going to win the battle of the plastics with people like that {cry}

Re: Beau's wart removal

Ahh, poor Beau and poor you having to make the decision. I'd say you've done the right thing though as it's obviously bothering him so getting rid of it altogether must make him feel better in the long run {hug}

Re: Apple Juice

Oh dear, it does sound to be a bit of a waste of time and effort :oops: Maybe I'll just stick to stewing some and trying to store some in the garage if we can stop the mice getting in and taking a nibble yike* Thanks for your replies anyway!
