Well, I was just thinking "they won't jump out of that", then someone suggests providing them with ladders!
You might need to net the top then. One of mine certainly jumps 4'.

What a palace though.

My arc is a triangle, sides 3', so that makes it a bit 2'7" at the tallest, I think the perch may be a bit too high as they don't use it much. If they did a 3' perch would be enough for 3 or 4, but they huddle together in the corner, and nest box. My nest boxes are1'x1'x1'. I have 6 and the arc...

My theory is that as she has only laid 3 in a week 'yesterday's' egg has caught up with 'todays' on the production line before the shell was put on.
You get all sorts of oddities at first, eggs with no shell, shells (sparrows egg size) with just a spot of white, etc

Don't be so thourough with your tidy up that they have no shelter to sit under when it's sunny/rainy and they don;t want to go inside.
OTOH I suppose brambles might be a pain if they decided to lay out and give you the fun of an egg hunt.

I must have clicked a different link (or gone in different dirrections when I got there).
I found instructions for making musical instruments out of carrots.
Fun for a folk festival, except you need to keep them in a fridge till use!

Most of our veggies and fruit are home grown at the moment (I think I have some peas in the freezer, but the Bird's Eye bag is easier to find) But I'm buying bread, milk, butter, cheese meat and the ingredients for all the home-made cakes, so quite a way to go. However I had a tin of £1 coins from ...

I started with 3 hens, have now got 6, but will go back to 4 or 5 when age gets the 2 oldest. My arc is 3'x3' which is big enough but the attarched run 6'x3' is too small for 6. They are in a larger run with movable flocknet most of the time, but if I go away and daughter looks after them she shuts ...

Anna - I knew i was quoting out of context, it just caught my eye and tickled my funny bone. I too think there are too many rabbits around, but if there is one in the road ahead of me (stupid creatures, they run away along the road instead of getting on the verge) I slow down and crawl along behind....

I grow lots of apples and I do much the same. I sort them into about 5 grades 5. Use or give away TODAY 4. Damaged, used SOON 3. badly scabbed or v. slight cracks use NEXT 2. Marked or scabby skins. 1. Good I put them in small boxes, but don't wrap them as that slows down the checking process, which...
