Re: How many of you have had your Covid jab?

The full implications of having the vaxx will not emerge until six months, a year, or two years down the line. I ilona That is true about most things we do. And for many things we never know because life is not an experiment where you control all variables except the one you are testing. I also fee...

Maybe that's why you couldn't open the first link then, though I thought people could open FB posts without an account.???

Re: How many of you have had your Covid jab?

I listened to someone on radio yesterday saying that one vaccine (Oxford???) was more likely to give side effects on the first dose, less on the booster, but the other way round for the other.

Never a dull moment.
My daughter used to wake up to rescue live frogs from her cat.

Re: Where's Tabatha?

The person I got her from was very definite that I shouldn't let her out her 6 weeks. I might have tried sooner, but I agreed to that. She's seen out from various windowsills, knows that you can open curtains in the middle to squeeze through, and has even realised that one window has a curtain that ...

Re: Where's Tabatha?

Well she's not been into the study since that music session, even though the accordion has stayed in the case. But she sleeps with me on the bed. This morning I found a blue spider with yellow legs in the shower tray. Last time I saw it, it was in the airing cupboard. I'm getting used to hearing scr...

Re: Where's Tabatha?

She is spending a lot more time with me now, but only when she chooses to. I've noticed differences between her and Pat. She climbs all over the place but is very delicate about where she puts her feet - Pat had got rather clumsy. Walks across the desk without typing on my computer keyboard (usually...

Re: How does your garden grow?

The green bin is now empty, the black barrel full to overflowing. Plenty more to fill the green barrel but no more energy just now after an hour pruning and moving big branches.
i look in one direction and think I'm getting somewhere, but if I go another way round there is loads shouting to be done.

Re: How does your garden grow?

Very hard to kill brambles. Just don't let it get out of hand. They root where they touch, trip you up when you walk round the garden and prick through the thickest gloves. I've been trying to kill a berberis for 5 years. Not sure if it self seeded or if Jim propagated it, but it got it's roots into...

Re: How does your garden grow?

I've got a mini daff out too, the rest of the clump has got rather overwhelmed - I think Jim planted 3 things where there was room for one, and a lot planted themselves too - brambles, berberis, buddleia. 5 years of neglect on my part hasn't helped.
