Re: Starting my diarySo glad Queenie got through her op. That's quite an eye-opener re the veg blockage. Mine don't seem interested in carrots but I think I will definitely keep them off the menu - raw ones anyway. Fingers crossed her recovery is fast and uneventful.

Re: The Dinosaurs in my Back GardenFinally took care of lovely Florence's last egg. Wanted to try to preserve it somehow. Carefully blew out the contents and cleaned out the shell. Worked really well. Scrambled the contents and Tom and I shared it. Gorgeous as always. Here's to you Flo Flo. X

Thanks Amber, personally I think she is at the chicken equivalent of the ugly duckling stage but she will blossom like my other Barnevelder I'm sure.
