Do you mean as in the buttercup comb shape, so it looks like a crown?
The only poultry that I know that has these combs is the sicilian buttercup..they are usually used for showing and are a gold colour.

Where abouts are you? I'm in North Canterbury and yep it is starting to get a bit chilly! I would say if you know of some ex-batts that are going get them, you run the risk of losing them (but then that's a risk anytime) but the one thing is for sure if you don't get them now they'll definitely die....
I have never washed my girls...they might get a shower if it rains. Do they have somewhere they can have a dustbath?
