Re: Please help - my baby just laid a lash :(I have had hens who have laid lashes and have been fine and dandy, although it isn't always the case, but if she is now better than she was I would think she is glad to have got rid of it, maybe that is why she has been off it for a little while, keep an eye on her

Vent Gleet does have a particular smell, and the poo is very pasty, if you cannot get the poo off after another bath you may be better just snipping some...

Re: Red Belly?I have just had a closer look at the picture, I do think there are one or two feathers breaking through so maybe a moult I have had hens that seemed to have sneezed and lost most of their feathers and others who have lost feathers in dribs and drabs

Re: Red Belly?Mmm has she been moulting? it does look quite red, you could pop a bit of sudocreme on it or a little zinc and caster oil, doesn't look like she has been pecked or any feather pecking going on, keep an eye on the limp, arnica cream can help if there is no obvious breaks etc,
