Hi All

We have had our record number of eggs today 6 eggs from 6 girls :-D We have had our girls since July and have had on average 2/3 eggs a day, but since the clocks changed we've had 3/4 and now 6 or do you think they are just maturing?
This chicken business is a funny one!

Muddy run We too have had trouble with mud on the grass (well no grass left now) so we also bought a bale of straw, hubby couldn't get the straw out of the bale in reasonable amounts so cut the twine and we have had an explosion of straw in the run, the girls are now almost high jumping to get aroun...

Hello Brian I have used several very watered down discinfectants and have had no problems, my girls do not bother about different smells but the best I have used is one for rabbit hutches etc just from the local supermarket, very cheap and not an over powering smell, when dry just smells "clean...
