We did 5 hours on the plot on Saturday. Hubby put posts in all the way down the plot ready for the chicken wire we bought. On Sunday morning (15th) we popped to the allotment for half an hour & heard our 1st Cuckoo of the year! Calling for 20 mins, Spring has sprung!!! This is a month earlier than the last 2 years so it is possible it was a bird just passing through, time will tell if we hear it again.

Hi Karen. Yes they do have half size plots & to be honest I think they would split our plot as the big plots aren't as popular anymore. We'll see what happens this year!
