Re: Depression

I suffer from depression and have done for quite a while but found it difficult to acknowledge that something was wrong even though life seemed to be spiralling out of control. It was`nt until I walked into work and just burst into tears and walked out again I finally saw that I needed help and phon...

Re: War Horse

Hi Sandy,
It was`nt the pony that was artificial, it was the bog, It had a ramp going down to it and getting out of it. There are a few nasty bogs on dartmoor, sorry not much to do with war horse apart from the horses. >mmm<

Re: War Horse

think I will wait for DVD of War Horse, I too would be crying my eyes out from start to finish, I have the book and will read that first to try and prepare myself. Just an aside, I lived on Dartmoor where Run Wild Run Free was filmed, the lady I lived with son supplied ponies for it, and her grandso...

Re: Coronation Street, East Enders or Archers?

used to watch Corrie but not for few years (this will age me, I can remember Ena Sharples, Minnie Caldwell and Elsie Tanner characters). Eastenders always seems to be depressing, so have given that up. Used to watch Emmerdale when it had 4 legged animals in it. Love the Archers and part of Sunday mo...

Re: Poncharetta get's to grips . . .

Hi Poncharetta. I have just read your post and WOW, you certainly have being frugal sorted out. My children have flown the nest but I give myself tooooooo much `pocket money' and my downfall is books. If I see a new book by favourite author (and I have more than 1) I have to buy it, I am really goin...

Re: Call the Midwife

I watched call the midwife oncatch up (lap top poorly for a few days) and loved it. Anybody read any of Jennifer worths books, they are very very good. I trained as a nurse in early 70`s and it was still strict then and we were still answerable to Matron. Nhs has changed so much, not always for the ...

Re: What's for dinner tonight?
