 one cheese cake(mascapone & soft cheese mix) in the fridge minus a good sized wedge. I daren't count the calories ... but even with just a dollop of vanilla essence it is truly wicked.

I know you were going to grow some from seed but I shudder to think how long it would take for the plants to grow big enough to harvest Surprisingly only 12 months I grew some from seed a while back but the crown method is definitely the best - the seed sown ones always seem to throw up a seed head...

100ft x 3ft high for £300 might actually be considered quite cheap! The previous owners to my house apparently paid over £1000 for a 4ft high featherboard fence roughly 170 feet length about 8 years ago (my garden isn't that long, I just added up all the lengths of fencing back & front LOL)

My finances are going to be extremely tight since I took out a new mortgage & a loan, and I'm determined not to use a credit card - I've started writing it all down with a running total & remaining balance of what should be in the bank at all times. I also have a tally of my grow your own sp...

Buy now chickenchaser and plant them into big pots outside . The biggest problem planting at this time of year is cold and waterlogged ground - pots give good drainage. You don't want to encourage growth just yet, so do put them outside but against the house so that they get some protection from hea...

A friend of the family used to make wicked plant pot holders for the garden using old car tyres (and I don't mean stack them on top of each other LOL), and then painting them white. They looked so professional and so clever. The other thing about recycling versus buy cheap - often it is a time facto...
