Funny how we all like wildlife....until we get the wrong sort. Moles in the lawn (and some people complain about worm-casts!). Rabbits & pigeons in the veg patch, mice & rats almost anywhere.

Wendy, I have to ask about the upside down umbrella to deter rats! I’ve not heard of this before >shrug<.

That had me scrolling back as I couldn't remember it. I'd assumed it was to stop food going onto the floor for them.

Funny the upside down umbrella has been mentioned.
We were in a garden centre this last weekend and there was a 'plastic' upside down thingy to deter squirrels and it reminded me of Wendy with her umbrella.

Caught mouse number 8 last night.
I will know him/her, because part of the tail was missing.
I let it go out the front instead of the back garden.
Now to see if we have any more 'tell tale' messages.
