The ladybirds are swarming

Post by Meanqueen »

I came across hundreds, probably thousands of ladybirds around a gatepost the other day while out walking. Could only stand for a minute or two to take pics before they were all over me. I beat a hasty retreat while trying to brush them off. I've read reports that they are everywhere at the moment. I like them, but not that many.

Goodness Ilona! Ugh creepy crawlies yike* Not seen any in our area, near Hornsea. Do remember a year possibly in the 1970's when we had a plague of them.
