Some years since we found that mice were getting in via a small hole near the waste pipe. Hope you can find the source of entry.

I agree with Wendy, find the hole or holes they are coming in through and block them up if possible with mortar or some dry quick stuff. They can squeeze through a hole the size of a Bic pen, so be looking for small as well as large.
21, Wendy now that is a good number, lets hope what you have done works long term.

Toy Boy husband was all for letting the captives go in another part of the garden away from the house but I know from other people that they just make their way back so I disposed of them as humanly as I could leaving the bodies in the garden for passing cats. We where on our way back to the UK for the winter less than 24 hours after spotting them and caught four juveniles and what looked like a pregnant one in that time.
Our/my mistake ? Baiting the traps and leaving them so when we left so when we get back we'll have mummified corpses to deal with. yike* {cry}
Thanks for the advice regarding blocking any holes we find on our return I'm going to pack them with poisoned wire wool before sealing them as well.

no need to use poison if you block the holes, they cant chew through wire & you run the risk of poisoning other creatures that might eat the mouse. A common place they get in is through the vent bricks. We covered these with fine mesh from a diy store, blocked any other possible holes with wire wool & they stopped coming in.

That's why I'm hesitant about using poisons and the shops that sell traps in the village and nearest town don't sell them either. You can buy poisons and sticky paper and so on in the huge DIY stores in the cities but I suppose there for use in city locations in Bulgaria, yes you're both right I'll stick to wire wool and fillers, thanks.

Oh again, please don't use glue traps. They are horrid and the mouse dies of starvation or lack of water.
I have a humane trap, that I bought online.
It is called 'Iiwey Humane Mouse Trap'. It does work.... Today I caught mouse 23.
The guy is coming tomorrow to block up the hole properly. Because the little b*ggers keep moving my efforts lol

31 WOW!
I am not against mice it is the fact they wee as they walk and that is not nice.
I had mice as a child and they really used to stink, even though I cleaned them out sometimes twice a day and once you smell it you never forget it.
Just to give you a laugh I named one Archibald...…….why I do not know...…... {rofwl}

{rofwl} {rofwl}

I have paid someone £200.00 + and he has caught one and me 31.
I am thinking of starting a new venture !

I also have found a hole and blocked it, but obviously they are getting in somewhere else.
He has found none and also just left the dead body under the cupboard.

I have a feeling I have been fleeced }hairout{

£200!! No 'think' about it, you have been fleeced.
Have you tried contacting the local authority, Wendy. They will not recommend anyone, but they will if your lucky give you the name of the company that they use. Maybe worth a try.
Why did he not take the dead mouse out, did he say? That is going to smell real bad, very soon.
