I agree with you Ilona.
Money Saving Expert is OK if you are trying to save money above all other considerations. But time, and environmental thoughts (flying to Germany!!), plus not buying what you don't need just to 'save' do come into it. They give advice on everything from insurance to cheap Easter Bunnies.

It can be a bit of a game, to beat the system.

At one time the big supermarkets would take coupons for things that they stocked without checking that you had bought them - so when our Playgroup was sent coupons I used them all to stock up on refreshments. As I say - beat the big boys at their own game. Now it's all bar codes so they do check.
