Bruce

Post by wendy »

I have Bruce now.
Obviously a Border Collie. But I would think from working stock.

Very, very frightened and shy. Is reactive to people outside the kennel and does bare his teeth and sound mean, he did wee himself if anyone came near him, so the staff have done well, even getting a hrness on him. I have spent an hour yesterday and today with him. Just standing in the kennel and throwing food at him. Today we manage to play a sort of game of ball. But not a lot of room. But he did feel comfortable enough to drop the ball in front of me. He has taken food from my hand numerous times today. So he is getting braver.

He looks lovely, Wendy.
Usual questions, how old is he and do you know why he has been brought in?
It does look like there is collie in there and if so he will have a very active mind and body, bless him.

Don't know anything about his arrival there.
But he hasn't had much socialising with people or dogs I think.
He is only young, they say between 1/2 but nearer the one I would think.

And everything crossed here as well. Love to think of animals getting the loving forever home that they all deserve (and it's down to people like you who give them time and tlc).

Yes it is lovely to see their empty kennel, although it tugs your heart.
As they all have a little of it. {cry}
