Post by kitla »

I know this is an ad but its quite interesting for people whose pets hate fireworks, I wonder if it will catch on

They are making this out to be something new but they've been around for 70+ years. In my childhood not all fireworks were 'bangers'. There were pretty ones and noisy ones.
The noisy ones have certainly got noisier over the years.
This would solve one aspect of the firework problem, but the way everyone wants 'bigger & better' it's not the whole answer. When you can taste the air around bonfire night it can't be good.

I too remember that the majority of fireworks were 'pretty' and not noisy.
If you wanted noisy then you bought what were then called bangers. Compared to today's bangers though they were very quiet in comparison.
