Back home.

Back home, thank goodness. Had to make two trips to A & E following discharge though, and rather a rocky start to recovery.

Hope everyone on the Lane is doing well.

Welcome back. I think everybody must be on holiday, no one around.

Thank you Mo and Ilona. I would sit outside in this glorious sunshine but for the fact that I am sporting white stockings, and I will be unable to get onto and off the sun lounger!!

Hope after a bad start you make a speedy recovery. At least it is done and things can only get better. {hug}

How are you now? Hope you can cope with the heat with stockings on if it is very hot where you live. Take care {hug}

Thank you everyone. The stockings are miserable, and the MacMillan nurse told me that I will have to endure them for at least another four weeks. My wound has not completely healed, which is disappointing, the assortment of District Nurses come to give me a daily injection, some say one thing, some say another, and they don't seem to follow through, but are all very nice, apart from the first one, who thought that to be given an enema was rather funny - she said she was not qualified to do this, much to my relief.

My son went back last week, so I am reliabt on friends to help me out from time to time. The intense heat has dried most of my pathetic pots up, and I am unable to lift a watering can. It would take all day to water up a cupfull at a time.

Very weak still, but I understood that recovery would be slow.
