)c( Lucy and Stef )app(

My daughter had missed SW so last wk was a 2wk weigh in and she lost 4.5lbs.
Obviously pleased she told her fella her good news and he replied "how come you're losing and im putting it on"
I thought!!!she said to him sew your mouth up pastie boy, and nearly choked on my drink. yike*
What did he say i just managed to splutter out and she replied that "I only thought it Mum I didnt say it out loud im not that nasty .ang.
Honestly iv been giggling at my mistaken hearing, they've been together 5 yrs so probably not long enough for him to know what shes thinking thank goodness {rofwl} Lindaxx

{rofwl} Linda!

I've stayed the same this week, which is a bit frustrating, but I'm trying to keep in mind that I am still half a stone lighter than I was two weeks ago, so I'm happy with that really. (and I did have lunch out last Sunday)

I have now finished the last day [day 5] of phase one, of the Harcombe diet
I have lost 4lb !!!!! wow. I am impressed.
I really only want another 1lb and I will be where I want.

Be careful with the hypnotherapy Lucy.
My daughter went and was told to eat what she wanted until she wasn't hungry anymore.
She now weighs more than she has ever done. I wish she would go back and have it 'undone' :?

I have this problem too. Mind you, when I was much bigger, I didn't realise my size then either }hairout{

I am sure you will be pleased to know that I have put on a decent amount of weight, and haven't lost loads during the summer months as I usually do. This is mainly due to friends feeding me loads on a regular basis plus going to the local pub for their 'local's night' once a week. It is usually just the winter, but as the weather has been so bad, it has been extended this year!

As I am not dead skinny at the moment, I am not looking forward to weighing myself when I get back from holiday later in the year, as I always put on at least half a stone! yike*

I think I have the opposite problem. I know that I'm a good 3 stone overweight, but I don't feel it. When I look in the mirror I don't see a skinnie-minnie, but I don't see someone that's 3 stone overweight either ... until I see a photograph :oops:
Our brains work in peculiar ways, that's for sure. I know that I was too thin for a long time, and now I'm too fat, but my brain just sees 'me'.

I find photographs are very useful - although I do weigh myself from time to time (not too often!) I find a photo lets me know how others see me.

LBF - as I said - when I was really overweight, I didn't realise either. Looking in the mirror just didn't do it for me, and my husband never said anything! }hairout{

I agree, with the mind thing, have lost 2 stone now, although I still try to wear clothes that I would normally have worn, can't get my head around that, when I see people I havn't seen for some time, they always say something along the lines of gosh you have lost weight! They never use to say anything about weight.
I now understand how we all think so differently about weight and was always very envious of others, not anymore, feeling right in your mind about your weight has to be the best thing )t'

You are so right. It is how you feel that matters.
I know I usually only have a few pounds to lose and others a lot more than a few. I do feel sometimes I shouldn't be here, bleating about it. But it is how I feel about that 5lb or so.
Well done Brenda 2 stone that is fantastic. )b( )b( A photo in your swimsuit soon. {hug}
