I managed to loose 5 pounds in the 2 weeks prior to Christmas, 1 week on and I feel sure I have gained this again. I will start again on Thursday of this week, I then go away on holiday the following Friday, so I guess my weight will be yoyoing for the next 3 weeks or so. But I am determined to get back on the wagon and keep it under control. I vowed never to reach the weight I was 2 and a half years ago ever again. And despite adding and shedding pounds I have kept my vow to myself, for which I shall pat myself on the back, and not do as most of us ladies do and give ourselves grief about gaining a few pounds.

I lost three stone a couple of years ago and have definitely put it back on, with some extra )gr: I need to shift it, once and for all, and my New Year resolution for 2014 is to to the groundwork to ensure that my New Year resoloution for 2015 does not require me to lose weight....

It starts today )t'

After today, Start of the healthy eating, after nearly a month of stuffing myself silly )eat(

To celebrate the end of festivities.
We went to an alternative New Years Eve party, as we don't go out on NYE and danced ourselves silly.
We have now opened a bottle of Champagne ( we did get 12 for our anniversary )grin2(]
We start back tomorrow on the Harcombe diet. I have about 9lb to lose.
But I will do it. Spencer is having a go at it as well, as friends. So a bit of competion will help.
Good luck everyone )t'

OMG - I knew I had put on over Christmas, weighed myself last eve and I am almost 9st 7 lbs!!!

That is at least half a stone over where I would ideally be for my frame, and most of it has gone to my tummy }hairout{

I think it is the alcohol and snacks that's done it. .ang.

Annoying isn't it ?
I have lost about 3lb. But the nearer you get to the weight you want, the bloomin' harder it gets.
Keep at it guys )t' , I am sure all of us have lost some.

Interesting reading your posts. As I have posted elsewhere, I am trying to lose weight. Am currently exercising, and cutting down on bread and potatoes. We don't eat much sweet stuff, and I am not a big meat eater. Lunch at presents consists of two Ry....as with a small amount of cheese, perhaps soup, and maybe a home made bun or something. If I don't eat something sweet, I am raiding OH's chocolate biscuits.

OH can eat anything and not put weight on.....

All the best to those of you who are struggling with a beastly diet.

Here I go again, I lost 7 pounds prior to Christmas.
Today after the festivities and a week in sunny Florida I have gained it again.
So the healthy eating has started again.
I have another holiday planned for the first 2 weeks in April so I have around 9 weeks.
My goal is to loose 1 stone, I will keep you informed )t'

Well done Davina. A nice boost to get you going. )t'

I am now losing and gaining the same quarter of a lb :? Still would like to lose the elusive 5lb.
I think as I was on WW for so many years and really didn't eat a great deal with only being able to eat 18 points a day. I have got to nearly starve to lose now )gr:

Wendy, I did WW for a long while (many years ago) I found the same as you after giving it up I really struggled to find any other diet that worked. For the last few years I have been following SW (on and off) it works for me.
