I don't think it can be Man Flu, it can't cross gender, that's a known fact.

Sorry to hear about your ear problem! If its inner ear that will always make you feel dizzy and sick! If is a bulid up of mucas, say from your sinuses through colds etc, try to inhale over hot water with a towel over your head, put a few drops of ALBUS oil in the water twice a day! I have suffered with this for years, and take meds when i get a bad attack! The inhailing clears the passage from you ear down to the base of your neck, also hold your nose and make your ears pop! If your neck is tight due to stress, press your chin down as hard as you can on your thumbs, hold for 10 seconds and then release, it works do it a few times every hour! Medical fact: man flu is the precursor to death it is soooo horrid and incapacitating.
Fact two: only men can contract man flu (the clue is in the name). What you have got Jen is a common cold, the type of ailment that us chaps shrug off willy-nilly in order to continue our lives. We feel sorry for you and hope that you recover soon but it’s not man flu. xxx Bah Humbug
